Prayer Requests
We welcome prayer requests. Use the form below to submit
your prayer concerns.
Every October we hold our annual
Revival and Jubilee.  In
conjunction with these meetings
we ask that every church member
use the printed prayer guide
during the first three week of
October; praying that God will
bring great conviction and a
mighty move of the Spirit of God
upon our lives, families, church
and community.  Revival only
comes by prayer.  An afternoon
prayer meeting  is held the
Sunday before Revival.
The FAITH Strategy  is committed
to making ministry and outreach
visits to church family, church
prospects and those who need a
personal relationship with Christ.
In the two 16 week semesters
each participant is asked to
choose two prayer partners to
under gird them in prayer.  Your
prayer participation is essential to
the success our FAITH Ministry.
All men are invited to join us in
prayer at 9:00 am each Sunday
morning for a brief season of
prayer before our morning
worship.  Our men also have a
Prayer and Power Breakfast at
8:00 am on the second Saturday
of each month.  As our men go, so
goes our families and church.
We have set aside the first
Wednesday of each month as a
designated day for prayer and
fasting.  If you have
never practiced fasting and prayer
we encourage you to discover this
wonderful aspect of prayer ministry.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  James 5:16
The Prayer Ministry is under the direction of our Diaconate and Pastoral Staff.
This is an annual opportunity for
our students to gather at their
respective school flag poles;
praying for their schools, friends
and other needs that are specific
to their lives.  See You At The
Pole began in 1990 in the state of
Texas.  Parents are encouraged
to find flag poles at local city
buildings and join in prayer.
SYATP is the last Wednesday of
September.
Our 24 Hour prayer chain is
designed to quickly send to our
members an urgent prayer
request.  The prayer chain is one
of the ministries of our Women’s
Ministries.  To start the prayer
chain call Evelyn Howdyshell,
Sharon Wolfe or Shirley
Carpenter.  You can be added to
the chain by contacting one of the
ladies listed above.
The first Sunday of the year we
ask each member to list 5 of their
family, friends or community
members who have a need for
salvation,
rededication or a need to be
active in church. These five are to
be prayed for regularly.
Every Wednesday night at
Ebenezer before our adult Bible
studies we begin with a season of
prayer.  Don’t miss this prayer
opportunity!
Each week a list of prayer request
and needs is printed and placed in
every members mailbox or
distributed to Wednesday night
attendees.  This list provides a
great weekly prayer guide for
request from church family and the
community.
Prayer is very important at Ebenezer Baptist Church. There are many opportunities throughout the year for everyone to
participate. Remember to Pray!

SPI
SPI stands for Stratigic Prayer
Initiative. Every month a prayer
calendar is placed in each church
member's mailbox. We pray through
our entire church membership on a
rotation basis. Along with a listing of
members, there are other specific
prayer needs to be prayed over.

Prayer Watchmen
You can be a prayer watchman by
choosing one hour of the day to
pray for any specific needs of our
church or needs that the Holy Spirit
brings to your mind.
We are asking you to pray at
sometime during the hour you
choose.
In the Old Testament days
watchmen were chosen to stand on
the walls of the cityand watch for
enemy encroachments. We are
looking for prayer watchmen to
"watch" in prayer over our church.
We need the blessings and
protection of our God at all times!
Every January our church kicks
off the new year with 40 days of
prayer and fasting. We provide
each participant with a specific
prayer guide to follow so that our
church will be agreeing in prayer.
Everyone is invited to participate!
The first Thursday of May is
National Day of Prayer. Local
organizers have taken this event
to a new level by having
volunteers read the Bible through
leading up to the National Day of
Prayer. This is a great opportunity
to pray for our communities, state
and nation. Following the principle
of I Timothy 2 it is a great
opportunity to pray for those in
authority.
