Jubillee 2008 services took place November 19 through November 22. Larry Grays, Bob Burney and Pastor Steve
Hubbard preached and One Way Trio, Buddy Mullins and Doug Smith provided music for the services.
375 members of the Ebenezer Baptist Church family and special guests met Sunday, November 23 at the old church for
a final service. During this time, the congregation sang a hymn, had a pastor appreciation recognition and then walked
to the new church site.
At the new church, Doug Smith and One Way Trio provided special music. Kristen and Morgan Godby performed
signing. A slide show of church construction was shown and Pastor Hubbard brought the message entitled "We Believe
in Miracles. The first baptism service was also held. Aaron and Anderson Wolfe, Jennifer Nash, Caleb Matheny and
Cayden Boyle were baptized. After church services, a dinner was held at the old church.
The old church building will continued to be used for meeting, Wednesday Bible study, youth group meetings and some
Sunday school classes.

Ebenezer Baptist church is considering affiliation with the
Scioto Valley Association and the Southern Baptist
Convention. This process will take several months as we
examine a potential partnership. Information about the
Southern Baptist Convention is available in the church
vestibule. You can learn more about the Scioto Valley
Association at www.svbaohio.org:8000 and Southern
Baptists at www.sbc.net.
Update: We are currently under a watch care
membership with the Scioto Valley Baptist
Association until the church makes minor
constitutional and structural changes.

Operation Christmas Child
During the month of October and early November, our church participated in
Operation Christmas Child. This ministry provides gifts, personal care items and the
gospel message to children in need. The goal for our church was to collect 130
boxes. Members of our church family responded to this ministry by bringing in 140
boxes. These boxes will now be delivered to children all over the world.
